Divorces are difficult and not all divorces need to be contested or litigated.  When both parties are willing to communicate, have the best interests of the children at heart and are able to recognize each other’s perspective, then mediation or collaborative divorce may be the healthier way to split up.
Ann Newman is an experienced and skilled family law attorney who focuses on marital mediation and collaborative divorce.

As a mediator and attorney, Attorney Newman will guide you and your spouse through the process and help you reach an amicable agreement that provides concrete and practical solutions that meet both parties’ goals and needs. Attorney Newman facilitates communication by identifying and narrowing the issues, discussing the options and reduce the communication obstacles to find resolutions.

Like mediation, collaborative divorce focuses on the family.  Through thoughtful communication with the collaborative team, parties are able to create a settlement agreement that rebuild the family’s stability and financial future.

Attorney Newman believes that mediation and collaborative divorce helps reduce conflict, increases your control of the process and help to preserve a healthy relationship with your children and each other as co-parents.

Attorney Newman’s practice includes divorce, custody and custody arrangements, child support, division of assets, prenuptial agreements, meditation, collaborative divorce and child protection issues.
